Welcome to 2021! I hope that your year is off to a wonderful start. We are off to visit my grandma, and I can’t wait. It’s been more than a year since I’ve seen her, and she’s now in the same state as I am. She used to live in California.
I couldn’t think of a better way to start off our new year than to take a quick trip to say hello. If you are new here, take a look at yesterday’s post for a good introduction.
It was a rainy day in Houston yesterday. I worked for half a day, worked out and ran a couple of errands. We celebrated New Year’s Eve with a very small group of friends – on a rooftop downtown (one of my friends lives Downtown)! Cheers to a healthy, prosperous and fulfilling 2021!

That’s my friend, Jeremy. He’s been my friend for years and years now. I just love him!

In 2016, Aaron and I went to our friend’s house out in Cypress. They live on the lake, and it was such a fun time!

In 2017, we got a group of friends together for a nice dinner at restaurant here in Houston.

There I am in black again. It’s been a tradition to get together with some friends for a dinner to celebrate the new year. All of the guys in this photo are now married!

So this year, it looks like I switched it up a bit. It went with a black – and a silver and some gold. Same spot, same friends, start of a new year.
