Best Costco Summer Items

Costco | topo Chico hard seltzer

Remember when I said I had to do a Costco trip prior to my Fourth of July party? Well, I had to do a huge trip. I hadn’t been to Costco in awhile, so I needed a little bit of, well, everything. I always like to see what other people are buying at Costco, so I figured I’d share some of my finds. In my opinion, I snagged some of the best Costco summer items. So, come on in, let’s take a look.

Costco Haul

I’m going to start with my favorite Costco purchase: Waterloo. You can buy a 24 pack that consists of three different flavors for less than $8. This time, they had a pack that consisted of lemon-lime, black cherry and strawberry. And a pack that had orange, pineapple and watermelon. I hadn’t ever tried the pineapple and orange, so I snagged that pack as well.

On top of that Waterloo box, you’ll see a pack a kombucha. Brew Dr. Kombucha is one of my favorite brands, so I was happy to see this in my Costco refrigerated section. Costco can be hit or miss with the types of kombucha they carry, but this time, I snagged a box of the Brew Dr. Clear Mind is one of my top 3 kombucha flavors ever.

Next up in the beverage category: adult beverages. I hadn’t actually tried the Topo Chico hard seltzers, so I was thrilled to see the variety pack in Costco. So, I grabbed a couple of boxes for the party. I liked the strawberry guava and the mango. Not bad for a hard seltzer!

I moved onto the easy dip category. These are great summer purchases because I was able to stick that Artichoke and Jalapeño dip out by the pool with some chips and naan, and it was a big hit. The roasted red pepper hummus is a staple in my house year round. But, seriously, if you haven’t tried that artichoke and jalapeño dip, you have to give it a try. Trust me! It’s a great dip to bring to a party, and I’ve been known to bring it and stick it in my own dish a time or two!

I know I’ve talked about this item before, but I love it. I always keep this Cauliflower stir-fry rice on hand. It comes with four separate pouches, and is a great (and healthy) item to keep on hand if you need a veggie side. I cook mine in coconut oil, and it fabulous. I like to serve mine with some chicken sausage, or mix it with a stir-fry vegetable kit and some tofu. Cooks in about 7 minutes.

I’m going to talk about the naan on the bottom of this photo real fast. I Iove this item. I put a bunch out for people to eat with my dips this weekend. But, they are also delicious if you warm them up and stick a tiny piece of brie cheese. It’s my guilty pleasure – and this gal loves her cheese.

And, as for the top of the photo – I needed a ton of house stuff. I bought Downy balls and dryer sheets, Clorox wipes and toilet cleaner. But, what I really want to show is this hand soap I bought. I needed some replacements for my guest bathroom, the bathroom by our pool and my kitchen, so this kit came in perfect handy. I wouldn’t say that the smell is super strong at all, in fact, I wouldn’t hate it if you could smell more of the scent. But, it did the trick for less than $10.

You know you’re getting old when….. you need to start taking allergy meds every day. I’ve never struggled with allergies up until last year. I don’t now what it is, but they can be pretty bad year round. I actually really like this allergy medication from Costco, which has the same active ingredient as Zyrtec I believe) because it doesn’t make me feel drowsy! My husband and I both take it, and it works wonders!

Other items I purchased included lots of bags of chips, and my favorite: Autumn’s Gold granola!

What are some of your Costco summer favorites?
