Costco Haul – Stocking Up Edition

Costco

Happy Wednesday! Today is an exciting day because we start Puppy School. Our schedules have been kind of all over the place, and we are finally in a good spot to be able to commit to both of us being home and available to take Tex and Cali to puppy school. It will be good for them – and us 🙂 It’s been a nice week on the work front so far. Meetings have been manageable, and I’ve been knocking a project out each day so far. Now, if I can carry that momentum with me to finish off the work week.

Somehow, it had been about a month since I had been to Costco. I love the BookTok on TikTok, but I also really love to see those Costco hauls on TikTok. If you are newly married, get a Costco membership, you won’t regret it. We were gifted a membership from someone as a wedding gift, which I thought was unique. And, well, we’ve been Costco members ever since. I also get Costco gas, which is significantly cheaper than regular stations. Yes, the lines can be intimidating, but they move relatively quickly, and it is worth it in my opinion. (and never in my life did I ever think I would be on here talking about Costco gas prices, but here we are – consider it my service to all of you).

I am going to warn you that we needed a ton of things. Mostly household items, and because it’s just the two of us, these will last us for a long time. I also picked up some new, fun snacks! Household items included some toilet paper, some Tide, Lysol, razors, batteries (hello hurricane season) and toothpaste.

And, of course, we had to grab some new toys for the spuds.

I’m also trying to incorporate more protein into my diet, so we perused the protein section. They had some good options, but my husband said I would like the taste of this one.

Costco

Now, this will be shocker, but I opted to try a new granola.

Costco

If you’ve been reading here any amount of time, you know that I love the Autumn’s Gold grain free granola. It’s a wonderful granola. It doesn’t have a ton of added sugars, and it it made of simple, whole ingredients. It’s such a staple in our house. And don’t worry, I am just taking a brief hiatus. I was interested in this new granola that my Costco had: Ratio granola. I was curious about this granola for several reason. It has 8 grams of protein and it doesn’t have added sugars. Now, it does have sugar alcohols, which are not favorite in general. The taste is okay – you can’t really taste the sugar alcohols, and it’s a good alternative. But, you know that my Autumn’s Gold is my tried and true, so I’ll plan to have both on hand.

Aaron also loves that Keto granola (we aren’t Keto, we just happen to like many of their Keto products), and I love my Parm Crisps to have on hand for a mid-day snack.

Because it’s summer, we’ve always got people showing up for the pool. And, I love a good pool snack. We grabbed this large jar of salsa and this new fried pickle ranch dip. This should come as no surprise that if you don’t like pickles – you won’t like this dip. I happen to love me a pickle, so the dip can stay!

Costco

Does anyone else’s husband find random items to throw into your Costco cart? Aaron located these breakfast burritos, and they did come home with us. I haven’t tried one yet, but he says they are delicious!

Costco

Aaron also loves a good, quick lunch. He’s on the go all the time and needs something easy. He’s been on a ramen kick lately, so he grabbed these to give them a try. He has not yet tried them – so stay tuned.

Costco

This is another random snack that made it into my bag. I did not love these. I’ll stick with the regular Cheez-its, and you think I would have learned my lesson by now. Why stray from a solid snack like a regular Cheez-it? This taste like a Cheeto puff – except it’s in the shape of a Cheez-it. And honestly, it just didn’t do it for me.

Costco

And this was a treat that I was the most excited about bringing home. What’s better than a sorbet in the summertime? These come frozen in actual fruits (coconuts, oranges and lemons). I’ve already tried the coconut one, and they are delicious. Highly recommend.

Costco | chicken sausage

I grabbed these chicken sausages, which are great to have on hand for a quick dinner. Throw in a veggie side, and you are good to go.

And you know I grabbed my favorite Cauliflower rice. This is so great to have on hand as a quick and easy side. You can have this ready in less than 10 minutes.

That’s all, friends. We are stocked up. I feel good that we grabbed some batteries for hurricane season (I always keep water bottles on hand), and I feel like my house is restocked in terms of the essentials!

Happy Wednesday!
