Count On Me

Happy Monday, friends! Sorry this post is a little bit late, but I’ve been swamped and in meetings all day. It’s that last push before a holiday, right?

I took all of next week off from work, and I can’t wait. It has been a very busy first quarter of the fiscal year, and I could use some days to decompress. And a girl needs to get her eyebrows done – am I right? But other than that, I hope to enjoy the last few days leading up to Christmas.

One of the meetings I was in today focused on a project I am working on for February of 2021. And wow, it really hit home that February will mark one year that we’ve been living with COVID-19. If you need some encouragement, know that the first rounds of the COVID-19 vaccine were delivered to the Texas Medical Center this morning! I’m optimistic that as more widespread vaccinations occur, that we will start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Sorry, I went off on a tangent there, but we were talking about using this video, which I’m going to share in the project that I’m working on in February. Our employee choir recorded this as an encouragement for patients, caregivers, employees – or really anyone who needed a smile on their face – earlier this year.

So, if you need some encouragement in your life right now. Maybe the holidays are a difficult time for you? Is the stress of the workplace getting to you? Maybe it’s just been a hard year for you in general? Watch this video, and I hope it brings you some joy!

Happy Monday, Friends! I’ll be back tomorrow with a weekend recap!
