Happy Friday, friends! Sorry I missed posting on Wednesday – we had a lot going on this week. It was a big week at work, and a big week at home. But first, some exciting news that I’m thrilled to finally share. Baby Gomez is arriving in April 2023, and Aaron and I could not be more excited!
This one has been a hard secret to keep under wraps over the last 14 weeks, but we are finally ready to share.
We’ve been quietly telling close friends and family, and sharing our joy with some of the most important people in our lives has been such a highlight.
And even though Tex and Cali don’t look super thrilled in these photos, they definitely know that something has been up lately! I have no doubt that they will be the best fur-siblings – no doubt in my mind!
We made our news public last night, and I’m glad that I can finally be fully open and honest about what’s been going on in our world. I’ll share more in the coming days, but for now, I am thankful to be feeling well, and Aaron and I are both ready to embrace this new season in our lives.
Thanks for being patient while I’ve taken some days to myself over the last couple of weeks (it was a mixture of exhaustion, growing a human and work – which has been a delicate balancing act lately). And really no Friday Favorite could ever top this news, so I’ll just leave this here as my one and only Friday Fave for the week. We head out of town today for a fun wedding weekend, and I’ll be back on Monday with my regularly scheduled programming.
