I had zero desire to get a workout in yesterday. But, I got a quick 30-minute virtual workout in (Kira Stokes app anyone?), and it felt so good to get the body moving after sitting at my desk all day. It was one of those days where I was scheduled in back to back virtual meetings.
I just got the notification that the desk I ordered for my office has arrived, and I cannot wait to get it set up this weekend. For your reference, I decided to go with this desk from Pottery Barn. I like that it has drawers, and the white goes with my color scheme.
Our friends and family have been so generous! I love getting pretty housewarming packages in the mail. This was a cozy blanket, and we’ve been using those alot lately.
Aaron finally got his prescription sunglasses. It took them more than a month to make. He rides his bike every morning – and he normally wears his regular glasses because he doesn’t like to switch back and forth between contacts and glasses. He finally decided to just order a pair of prescription sunglasses. I’m sure he will test them out on our long bike ride tomorrow! Side note: my sister-in-law makes the mask he is wearing. She sent over a bunch for me too, and they are the most comfortable (I’m talking adjustable and they have filters).
Night out with neighbors
Our neighbors from our previous neighborhood invited us out for some fun last night. They lived right next door to us, and they have the cutest yellow lab named Maggie. We miss them!!! Their son is in a band, and they were finally allowed to play an outdoor venue last night. It was so fun catching up and hearing some live music. The Houstonian is always a great venue.
One more photo of our view. For what is worth, I felt very safe because everything was outside, the weather was gorgeous and there was sufficient space between tables. Here’s one more pic. Love some Texas country music!
